Before you connect

A few good questions.

What kinds of opportunities can Room find?

Potential customers, contractors, software vendors, and partners. What Room looks for depends on what you can offer and what you need.

What evidence will I see?

Room explains why a match could be relevant and what supports that explanation: project experience, a customer relationship, or a specific need. It uses descriptions cleared for sharing, leaving out names and sensitive specifics.

Code can show an implementation. A payment can show a transaction. A message can show an interaction. Missing context stays a question; the person who could help still confirms the fit.

How does Room leave out the details?

Room turns specific work into a broader description of your experience or needs. A model trained for a named finance customer might become “experience fine-tuning models for document extraction.” The description keeps the relevant capability and leaves out the customer’s name.

You review that description before it is used for matching or shown to others. Both people must accept before identities and approved introduction details are shared.

Room governs and records sharing. An external provider reads whatever is sent to it. You review access when connecting. Read the privacy notice.

What happens after I sign up?

Connect a tool or add a file to give Room context. It prepares descriptions of what you can offer and what you need, with sensitive specifics left out. Once you’ve reviewed them, Room looks for relevant matches and brings you the evidence of fit.

Is Room a privacy-preserving collective intelligence platform?

Yes. Room connects what one participant can offer with what another needs, using approved descriptions with names and sensitive specifics left out. Sharing is governed and recorded.
